P.S. Some of these links below are affiliate links, which means I'll get a commission if you decide to buy their product or a service. It's of no difference for you, but it means a lot to me - those commissions keep this blog alive and myself motivated. And don't be fooled, although I'll make some money out of this I only recommend tools and services I use myself (or have done huge research prior to putting them on this page). Thank all of you who indeed buy something through my links, I really appreciate it.
These are the tools I personally use on my own Amazon affiliate sites, and most of them I use on every website or blog I make, even if it's not Amazon related. These are my top secret weapons I use to create highly successful and profitable websites.
SiteGround - I've tried dozens hosting services over the years and I can say with complete certainty SiteGround is the best shared hosting you can buy. And it's not just me, SiteGround is voted as #1 hosting company in the world (voted by users), and is officially recommended by WordPress.org too. Btw AzonHacks is hosted on it as well. Want the best hosting in the world? Than choose SiteGround - period!
Thrive Themes membership - If you got to pick just one, or if you can afford just one thing from this page, than choose this. Thrive Themes membership will give you all the tools you need to create an amazing website, including beautiful & high converting WordPress themes, a set of tools for gathering leads, making sales pages, customizing your blog posts, or even creating urgency. Guess what, this blog is made with Thrive ๐
KWFinder - I heard about KWFinder several months ago, and wow, what a tool. It is now my primary tool for keyword research. I used Long Tail Pro before (mentioned below), but this is a bit cheaper, available online and really powerful. You can try it for free without signing up, after that pick your package and pay monthly or, my recommendation, get the yearly package and save 50%.
EasyAzon - Do I even have to say anything about EasyAzon? It's like a must have tool for every Amazon affiliate. It increases your profit potential by allowing you to get commissions not just from Amazon.com, but from Amazon online stores from all around the world. Every Amazon website I have or plan to build has this installed, it's really a no brainer.
GetResponse - Autoresponders, what a drag, right? But not with GetResponse. I spent a lot of time searching for a perfect combo of price and features, and GetResponse has come up as Nr. 1. Simple to use, yet really powerful. Use it to bring your visitors back to your site when you publish new article/review, let them know about that new discount etc. Choices are endless and highly profitable.
NameCheap - I used to use GoDaddy before, while they had all those coupons available, but not anymore. NameCheap has ok prices, nice and fast domain availability search options, and the best thing, it gives you WhoIs protection for free the first year. Plus, there are no upsells and other annoying marketing tactics, just pick your domain, buy it and you're done.
Having a great hosting for your websites is more important now than ever before. Google gives more advantage to websites that load faster, users enjoy faster websites more and buy more, and you don't lose any money if your website is never down (in 99.99% cases). I recommend only two web hosting services, pick yours below.
SiteGround - I've tried dozens hosting services over the years and I can say with complete certainty SiteGround is the best shared hosting you can buy. And it's not just me, SiteGround is voted as #1 hosting company in the world (voted by users), and is officially recommended by WordPress.org too. What more proof do you need? If you want the best hosting in the world than go with SiteGround period!
A2 Hosting - This has become my second favorite hosting company after SiteGround. They have blazing fast servers which you can make even faster with their turbo boost option, awesome support and the latest technology. Everything you need from a host in a very affordable package. I seriously recommend you to check them out.
GreenGeeks - Some of my clients and friends really wanted to get SiteGround but it was a bit out of their budget at the time. That made me look for the second best alternative, with great quality and uptime, but a bit cheaper. Meet GreenGeeks. They plant trees and they give a hell of a hosting service too. If you can't go with SiteGround nor A2 Hosting above than go with GreenGeeks, you won't regret it, trust me.
MaxCDN - Having a good hosting is just the first step in getting higher conversions. Did you know that 40% of your potential customers will leave your niche site if it doesn't load under 3 seconds? Yep, it's true. By using a CDN service like MaxCDN you can significantly increase your website's loading time for customers around the world, and the best thing is it costs just $9/mo and takes 5 minutes to setup.
You want your domains to be safely and securely stored, with easy access to all important info, plus you want to hide your WhoIs data for niche stealers and competition. NameCheap provides all that, I use it, you should too.
NameCheap - I used to use GoDaddy before, while they had all those coupons available, but not anymore. NameCheap has ok prices, nice and fast domain availability search options, and the best thing, it gives you WhoIs protection for free the first year. Who wants to buy something from an ugly website? I don't. Yes, you can use free WordPress themes for your niche sites if you find the ones that suits all your needs. Below are listed only premium theme providers, most of them have some useful WP plugins too included in the membership package. I recommend the first three the most because they really have a lot to offer, but check them all out and see which ones you like the best.
Thrive Themes - Although they offer only 10 WP themes in their package they are some of the best themes out there. The one used here on Azon Hacks is from Thrive Themes called Rise theme. Nice, right? You can customize them a lot, they are fast, SEO friendly and have some cool built in features. P.S. You get the best deal with their membership (all themes and plugins included), I have it too.
Elegant Themes - One of the most popular theme makers out there, with more almost 90 themes in their arsenal, including Divi, and some cool plugins too, all for one really affordable price. Go and check them out and see how many of their themes could you use for your next Amazon niche site.
MyThemeShop - Wow, now this is a theme shop you want to pay attention to. They have over 100 WordPress themes and over 20 WordPress plugins. And they are giving all that away for less than $1 per theme/plugin. Really amazing deal. However, first check all the themes and plugins and see if (and how many) of them would you actually use for your Amazon niche site.
Ultimate Azon Theme - Users of this WordPress theme, built specifically for Amazon niche sites, are reporting huge increase in conversions. It's no surprise when everything you see on it was built to convert visitors into Amazon buyers. There are some nice and unique features included in it, go and check it out, and don't forget to see the demos.
StudioPress - SEO optimized themes, Schema rich snippets included, beautiful modern designs aimed to bloggers, Genesis framework and a perfect set of themes you can use for your Amazon niche sites. StudioPress is truly something amazing, some bloggers / site owners won't use any other theme provider once they try them. Do you do dare to own one? Click-through and decide.
Themify - If you want modern and nice looking themes than check this out. Over 40 WordPress themes available, together with some cool plugins, and all that for a really affordable club price. You can of course get individual themes too, and there are even some free one. Go and visit them and see is there any theme suitable for your next Azon niche site.
Theme Fuse - Quality, attention to details, unique design. That were the first thoughts which came through my mind when I saw their templates. They really are something different and it's visible in every template just how much effort they put in their design process. Check them out and see if you could make one or more Amazon authority niche sites with their themes.
Tesla Themes - Another amazing theme provider with over 60 quality premium WordPress themes and really affordable get-them-all pricing. I'm sure you'll find at least one theme over there that will make your Amazon niche site stand out from other competition. Check them out and see what they offer.
Theme Junkie - No they are not using drugs, they just like their themes very much. Jokes aside, they are well know theme providers, with almost 70 themes available, plus 6 completely free plugins. They are also one of the most affordable theme providers, you just need to see for yourself do you like their themes or not.
What makes a good Amazon niche site is not just a good theme, it's also plugins which give them extra functionality and features. Below I listed all WordPress plugins that are a must for every Azon niche site, IMHO. These plugins will truly make your niche sites above average and increase conversion rates and profit.
Thrive Content Builder - This is the best plugin ever created, my favorite WP plugin by far. With it you can create custom landing pages, but what's more important for Azon niche sites, you can style your pages and posts, highlight important things, add custom buttons, add product pros and cons, table of contents and much much more.
Thrive Leads - Another gem from Thrive team, this is the only tool I use for gathering email addresses from my visitors, showing them opt-in forms anywhere I want, using options like popups, slide-ins, exit intent forms, in articles optin forms etc. You also have A/B testing feature and many more, it's most powerful lead generation plugin for WordPress. Use it with GetResponse for killer effect.
WP comPEAR - Yes, I also think that author of this plugin really love pears. ๐ But actually, this plugin is one really unique and amazing comparison / table / slider WordPress plugin made specifically for Amazon niche sites. It's hard to quickly describe in words what does it do, go and visit their website and you'll see for yourself how truly amazing it is.
Table of Contents Plus - I love this plugin and find it really useful on longer articles where I use lots of headings. Your visitors will love it to because it will allow them to jump to the section of your article they prefer to read instead of scrolling through. The best thing about TOC+ is, your headings will also be showing in Google SERP's, which is amazing and great for SEO (click throughs).
Tablepress - Used by almost half a million people around the world, this is the most popular WordPress plugin when it comes to building tables. A lot of Amazon affiliate use it on their niche sites because it's really easy to create product comparison table with it, with Amazon links and everything.
Q2W3 Fixed Widget - Let's face it, if you are going to build an Amazon niche site, most of your articles will be 1000+ words long. That's a lot of scrolling. In other words, your sidebar widgets, banners and links will disappear from the screen at some point. That's where this fixed widget plugin comes in - use it to always show certain widgets or banners in your sidebar, no matter how far they scroll down.
All-In-One Schema.org ๏ปฟRich Snippets - SEO should be one of your main strategies of bringing people and traffic to your Azon niche sites, and this plugin will help you bring even more of them. If you are writing reviews and have some kind review options in your theme, use this plugin to show those review ratings straight within Google results page and get more click-throughs to your site.
Every successful Amazon affiliate will tell you that keyword research is the most important step, prior to actually building your niche site, and that SEO is the most important step after your website goes live. To do great keyword research and pick profitable Amazon niches you need to use some good tools, the same goes for SEO. Below are my favorite picks.
SERP Checker - This is another great SEO tool from Mangools, the same company who built KWFinder. Actually, you can get both these tools for the same price, if you don't mind sharing daily limitations across two of them. SERP Checker will help you quickly research your competition on Google and see how easy or hard is to rank your new niche site against them.
SEMrush - I freakin love this tool. I mostly use it to spy on my competitors, see how well are they ranking and for what keywords. But you can do so much more with it, including keyword research, check backlinks and basically see how exactly your competitor ranked his website. That way you'll get a good idea how to outrank him, and how much effort is needed to do that.
Pro Rank Tracker - To grow your business you need to keep track of your progress. In Amazon affiliate business it's important to track your SEO rankings to know if you are doing things right or wrong. ProRankTracker is my go-to tool for tracking my keywords and rankings. It also has a free account so you can test it right away and upgrade later when you need it to.
Yoast SEO - This is another tool I use on EVERY blog or website I make, it's the best SEO tool IMHO, and the best part - it's FREE. Use it to manage your SEO titles, meta descriptions, social media integrations and much more. Seriously, don't create a website without installing this plugin, it's an essential tool for every online marketer, Amazon affiliates included.
Big money is being made from Amazon, both by sellers and affiliates. It's no wonder people started making products specifically for Amazon niche sites. Below I listed a couple of my favorite ones which I use on my Amazon affiliate sites.
AmaSuite 4 - This is I think the largest, most complete Amazon course you'll find online, for both Amazon sellers and affiliate. Not only do you get a whole set of tools to build your niche site, there's also a complete training on how to make money on Amazon. With this 'suite' you'll get the most bang for the buck. Check it out, it might just be the thing that will help you make your first money online.
Like they say, money is in the list. Although Amazon doesn't allow sending affiliate links in emails, that doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't use email autoresponders. You can create some kind of special offers landing page and send your email visitors there, or whenever you post another article or review, notify your email subscribers. When it comes to email autoresponders, I recommend only one service.
One of the most important things of your Amazon niche site is of course the content. The articles you write will make or break your website's ability to rank good on Google, but it will also have a huge effect on converting your visitors to buyers. In other words, if your content sucks, you won't make as much money as you could have. If you don't want or can't write check these websites below and outsource (hire someone else) to write your content for you.
Hire Writers - This is one of the most popular writing services out there, used by many niche site owners. However, not all of them had the best experience, but of course that also depends on the individual writer you hire. All in all it's a good starting point, and with some luck you can find good niche writers for reasonable rates.
Fiverr - Once a place where you could get anything for $5, now a much serious freelance marketplace. There are awesome freelance writers who will write 500 words for $5, but if you buy in bulk you may even find cheaper rates than that. With some research, trial and error, you should be able to find and hire a good niche writer.
People Per Hour - I call it the UK Fiverr alternative. It's really awesome and amazing freelancing marketplace, and currently my number 1 website for outsourcing work. Prices may seem high but with some digging and by contacting freelancers you can arrange a cheaper rate. And remember, there's a lot of UK people there, which means native English speakers who know how to write.
iWriter - Another great writing services provider, with amazing rates. If you are on a budget check them out. The quality will vary from writer to writer, but after some experimenting, you'll find a good one. Remember, you don't need 100 writers, you only need to find 1 great one which you can hire over and over again for all your niche sites.
Text Broker - Based on people's testimonials on social networks like Facebook, Text Broker is a writing outsourcing service you'll love or hate. Many people had bad experience with them, but a lot of them had great experience too. The one conclusion that came from all that is that Text Broker is a good choice if you need to outsource content for your Amazon niche site. Try and decide yourself.
UpWork - Former Odes and Elance, now merged into one big company, UpWork is one of the biggest freelance marketplaces in the world. You can find freelancers from all around the world which gives you a nice opportunity to find just the right writer for your niche site. How much will you pay for it? That
Grammarly - It doesn't matter if you're a blogger, a writer, affiliate marketer or maybe marketing manager, if you deal with content you need this tool. It's probably one of my top 5 favorite internet / computer tools ever. Basically, it's a browser add-on which checks your written text and shows you all your grammatical and other errors. It's not just a spell checker, it's much more. MS Word or Google Docs are not nearly as good as Grammarly on finding and fixing your bad English writing skills. It's completely free and you'll also get 1 free week of Grammarly premium which will improve your writing even more.
Depending on where you live not all Amazon payment withdrawal options might be available to you. I know that some of you reading this don't even have PayPal in their countries, or at least you can't receiveeve money on it. Luckily there are few other solutions you can use.
Payoneer - My favorite company in the world, I use it all the time to receive payments from many different companies, I also withdraw money to my Payoneer card from PayPal and use it to withdraw money from ATMs or to pay for stuff in the stores. If you are not using Payoneer sign up today for your free card and receive $25 bonus when you get your first $100 on it.
If you are in Amazon affiliate business you probably have your own personal favorite when it comes to WordPress or niche tools. Maybe it's some great WP plugin, high converting WordPress theme or even a full Amazon affiliate eCourse which helped you make a lot of money. In any case, please let me know here, and I might include it on this page.
